Arsenal are ready to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka, according to reports.
The Gunners are understood to have sent officials to watch the Swiss international in action recently as Arsene Wenger assesses the options available to him to bolster his midfielder.
And according to Calciomercato, the Gunners are now ready to sign the player having failed to do so last summer.
Atletico Madrid are also believed to be interested in the player, along with Serie A giants Inter Milan.
